Coverage Overview: Fund Transfer Fraud Coverage

Several SORSA members have recently asked us about this coverage.  A recent OASBO newsletter included an announcement from a different school insurer introducing this as a new coverage. The announcement also stated that the coverage limit would be $25,000 or lower.

You will be glad to know that SORSA has provided this coverage for several years.  The limit of coverage provided by SORSA is $100,000.

Other coverages provided in the SORSA Crime section include:

  • Employee Dishonesty including Faithful Performance of Duty $ 100,000
  • Forgery or Alteration $ 100,000
  • Theft, Disappearance or Destruction $ 100,000

Cyber Liability Coverage for all SORSA Members protects data losses whether paper or electronic.  New for 2016-2017 all members have coverage that includes security and privacy, regulatory action, event management, and cyber extortion.
